  I had the best experience at Arlington Safeway today, after I had spent well over an hour getting things for my daughters 4th birthday (trying to entertain two kids while doing this) I finally was ready to check out. The manager helped me ring up my items (I had a lot of them) between cupcake decor and food for the party he was super fast! Well when it was time to pay, I opened my wallet only to find that my husband had our card. On all days, today had to be the day I didn't have the card. I was embarrassed! I called my husband and he was no where near to me, and I definitely did not have enough cash to cover everything. The manager simple printed the receipt and told me to take my items home, and send my husband to pay by the end of the day. My total was almost $200- and he just let me take my things home. I was in tears! I've never had this happen before in my life! My husband of course will be by later today to pay- but wow!! Thank you so much Safeway in Arlington!

  Safeway had food prices, great staff. There a local supporter of the Arlington community.

  Nice neighborhood grocery store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's almost impossible to just run in and pick up something quickly, usually not enough cashiers.

  Good food quality, easy to find what you need. I hate they got rid of self check-out. I understand why they did it (people stealing), but it takes so much more time​ to check-out now!
